The official theme for International Women’s Day 2019, which takes place on March 8, is “Think equal, build smart, innovate for change”.
Focusing on ways we can advance gender equity and the empowerment of women, this theme celebrates the disrupters amongst us.
Those of us get out of our comfort zones, do things differently and break the “business as usual” rules.
The bold, the brave, the hard working amongst us. Those who aren’t afraid of a challenge, who look out for others and are in business for the long haul.
In 2019 this isn’t an exclusive group. It’s inclusive, supportive and widespread. And that alone is cause for celebration, don’t you think?
